We love Hip Hop, but our love for entertainment is much bigger then just music. In this section we will delve into movies , from classics to current showings to upcoming features. So let's start this with one of my favorite genre of films, the martial arts movies.
I am a kung fu freak , to me it's an endearing term and for the last years I've been stuck with watching the classics to satisfy my cravings and then i stumbled upon Su Qi-Er or the legend of beggar su or true legend from famed choreographer turned director Woo-ping Yuen know to most for his work on the Matrix trilogy and Iron Monkey

Su Qi-Er, a wealthy man living during the Qing Dynasty who loses his fortune and reputation as a result of a conspiracy against him. After being forced out onto the streets, Su dedicates his life to martial arts and reemerges as a patriotic hero known as the "King of Beggars." Also said to have been the one who invented drunken fist.

Of course we've seen this story before but i find they put an interesting twist to a ``known`` legend, the fighting choreography is intense of course and it's somewhat brigs back the old styles of fighting we grew up watching also we get an appearence from our favorite shaolin monk Gordon liu. My only major problem with this movie which is separated in three parts in the life of beggar su is the last part where he needs to defend China's honor against the evil foreigners which is the same ending in fearless with Jet Li and the same ending from Ip Man 2 with Donnie Yen (which will get a review from us very soon).
with this being said i still recommend this movie , ill give it a 3.5 out of 5
